"Helene was there for us literally from day one of our adoption journey. Our home study was a breeze, she sheparded us through INS smoothly, and she even introduced us to local families who had completed similar adoptions. We feel very fortunate to have worked with Nathanson Adoption Services."
- Greg and Ginger, Charlotte

"Helene, I am not that spiritual of a person, but I really believe that God led me to you. I am sure that had I not found you, I would not have this child today."
- Dr. Shelly West, Wilmington

"During our home study, Helene gave us some advice that has made us forever grateful to her. She talked to us at length about forming an attachment to our son, and recommended that for as long as possible, we should be the only ones to feed him, change his diapers, and rock him to sleep. That advice was priceless. Not only did it work, but I truly believe that is why our son has bonded so well with us."
- Gina and Paul, Waxhaw

My husband and I have adopted a daughter in a domestic program and we adopted our youngest child in an international program. The experience that I have had personally with adoption has changed my life. I believe in adoption and the difference it makes in a child’s life, but most of all the difference it makes in the parents life also. Adoption is a beautiful option for families.

"We are so glad we went with your services for our homestudy. We had originally checked with another agency but I emailed you & your response was so enthusiastic that I just felt lead to go with you. Susan has made our homestudy experience so meaningful. We will be sad/excited when our homestudy is complete but we hope to continue our relationship with her after the adoption. Her experience as an adoptive parent has been very helpful. My husband is usually shy with strangers but he has been comfortable with Susan since the beginning. I thought the home visit would be the most nerve racking part of the process but we are looking forward to Susan's visit. Thanks for being a part of our exciting adoption journey!"

Howard and Andrea
We chose Nathanson Adoption Services because of its reputation for providing outstanding adoption related services. Helene Nathanson sat down with us and made us feel like we had known her all our lives--making it so easy to share the personal information that is required for the home study. Her meetings with us also included adoption education and counseling. This education and couseling along with the compassion and respect that Helene showed us made us feel very comfortable and confident that pursuing an adoption was right for us.

Thank you for everything you did to help bring Austin into our family. We feel so fortunate to have met you, because you helped make our two year search for Austin something that we could handle. We admire the work you do, and thank you for doing it.
